Regardless, everything that is going to happen will happen.” Says Sarkodie
Michael Owusu Addo known professionally as Sarkodie, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur from Tema. His contributions to the Ghanaian music industry have earned him numerous accolades, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Award for “Artiste of the Decade”
Known to be one of the most decorated rappers in the scene, Sarkodie won the Independent Music Award for Best Song-Rap or Hip-Hop at the BET awards in 2014. The rapper also won the Best International Flow on the same platform in 2019.
For the tracks “Love Rocks” and “Enemies,” Sarkodie received two prizes. Sarkodie earned the artiste of the decade award at the recently concluded Vodafone Ghana music awards 2019 based on his persistence in Ghanaian music.
After achieving all of these milestones in his music career, Sarkodie has admitted that he has no control over what occurs in his life because it will happen anyway.
Sarkodie revealed in a space interview with Twitter influencer KalyJay that his belief and hard work have been the key reasons for his success, and that he thinks good things will come in his life regardless of what others forecast.
“Everything that’s going to happen is going to happen regardless. When people said things it got to me because I thought they knew what was happening but I realized I should push and move because if it will happen it is about me and what I believe in”, he said.
